Wow, finally back from convention.  Lisa and I had such a GREAT time.  We met lots of new friends and got lots of swaps.  Our upline, Amy Celona, made us the most adorable purses out of Stampin' Up! material.  Everyone wanted one too!

Here are pictures of the new bags Stampin' Up! offered in Momento Mall.  Of course, I got several of each..... go figure.

Project Instructions

Select three prints and one glitter solid. Punch two sets of circles for each eye using a ½", 1", 1 ¾" and 2" circle punch (total of four circles for each eye). Adhere these together and attach to the bag 2½" up from the bottom.

Cut a small triangle from a coordinating print; adhere in place just under the eyes.

Take the top section of the bag. Fold it over just above the eyes to create a crease. Extend the top of the bag back up. Fold the corners in to create a triangular top and fold back down above the eyes. Fasten in place using Glue Dots® or an adhesive foam square. 

Cut a square from a final piece of printed paper from the stack, ensuring that it is at least ¼" smaller than the width of the triangle. Fold the square in half diagonally and lay it over the top of the bag, with ½ of it showing in the front and the rest in the back.

Embellish your owl by adding a “bow tie” or “hair bow” with the gingham or polka dot prints.

Repeat as needed.

Insert your surprise, reseal, and enjoy handing out your party favors!

Customize your owls for girls or boys -- hair bows for girls and bow ties for boys keep things fun and extra cute!

Project Instructions

Lay five paper bags flat, alternating the bag openings left and right. Fold in half.
Punch holes at the crease of the spine with Crop-a-dile™ and tie ribbon through to secure.
Cut 4½" squares from scrapbook paper for each page.
Embellish with die-cut cardstock pieces.
Make tags and insert for the openings in the bags.
Make tabs from the circle die-cut pieces.
Ink the edges using Early Expresso ink if desired

Wow, where is the month of May going.  Just to update everyone, my father who was in University of Maryland intensive care since March 30, passed away on May 4th.  So I have been a little occupied dealing with the loss of both my parents in less than 2 months.  It has been hard, but I will survive.  Thanks to everyone for their love and support in helping me through these past months.  Thank you all!  I especially loved getting your cards.

I need to post the winner of the Treasure Hunt..........Lisa - you have won.  I will send you an email to get your address.  Congratulations.

Stamp Class last week was Great!  We focused on embossing.  The Mystery Hostess was WILMA DENTON.   Wilma choose to use her hostess benefits to purchase clear blocks.  We will definitely have to do this again.

I am so sorry, but I need to cancel the classes I had scheduled for 11 and 12 April. My father is still at University Hospital in Baltimore. He is still on the ventilator. I am changing the dates to the following week - 18 and 19 April.
Don't forget, this will be for a mystery hostess. One person will get the hostess benefits. It will be a random drawing.
